IBIZA, Spain — Private Media Group’s mockumentary-style shoot of a fictitious international volleyball competition scored two more pages of coverage in the leading Spanish sports daily, “Sport” on Friday. It had previously been featured in the publication last Wednesday.
Sport’s “second and last chapter” showcasing the shoot features an exclusive interview with the faux tournament’s male adult star, David “El Moreno.” His declaration that “Sex is the best sport” was adopted as the article’s headline.
El Moreno dished intimate details to Sport, offering advice: “When it comes to an orgasm, be a runner, not a sprinter;” a feeling: “I’m lucky, many would like to be in my skin. But I have my own dreams;” and a confession: “I want to retire [from porn] for the same reason I started — to have real sex.”
The Spanish-speaking actor also compared porn stars to elite athletes and said that his doctor incessantly asks him what sport he plays, presumably querying about how he maintains such a tailored physique.
The story’s author Carlos Galindo painted a pleasant pictorial of shoot, writing that there was “harmony” and “camaraderie” among the porn actors and Private CEO Charles Prast is completely “enamored” with Barcelona.
However, the article also notes that the local police visited the shoot three times for routine check-ups.
Private announced last month that it would film its “biggest block buster” of the year on the idyllic beaches of Ibiza, an island in the Mediterranean Sea 50 miles off the coast of Spain. Scottish-born Gazzman is directing the movie.
The mock volleyball tournament pits players from France against Spain and follows events on — and off — the sand. According to the article, two professional Spanish volleyball players, including Carmen Munoz, visited the set.
Private Media hasn’t yet announced the exact title of the film.
